• My name is Dave Carey
• I love what I do.
• I’ve been designing and programming websites since two thousand and four.
• I kind of stumbled into it.
• I care about the final product.
• I don’t do it for the money, but I do do it for a living.
• I work alone, but hire freelancers when needed.
• I work solely in Flash because it allows me to build websites that don’t feel like websites.
• I only build Blogs if it’s packaged with a full website.
• I only do print design if it’s packaged with a full website.
• I only do simple PayPal E-Commerce.
• I hail from Pelham, New Hampshire.
• I graduated with a degree in Film from Emerson College, Boston.
• I worked for the Scott brothers’ (Ridley and Tony) feature company, Scott Free, for a while.
• I worked for the Scott brothers’ commercial company, R.S.A., for a while.
• I worked for Biscuit Filmworks for a while.
• I like to travel, read, watch moving-pictures, take photos and listen to music – not necessarily in that order.
• I live and work in the same place, which is good and bad, all rolled-up into one.
• I have one beautiful and intelligent wife who is a professor at C.S.U.L.B., and two black and white Gatos who do their damnedest to make sure nothing gets done during the workday.
• I believe in balance, symmetry and equality.
